The problem with that: it needs lots of people to test the plugins. The readme file in <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/danielbachhuber\/gutenberg-plugin-compatibility#gutenberg-plugin-compatibility\">the GitHub repo from the project<\/a> contains information how you can help to test plugins. After you created an account, it seems to be a fairly straightforward process, with testing environments that are automatically created via WP Sandbox with Gutenberg and a plugin to test for compatibility installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The database lists 5,000 plugins which represent more than 90 percent of the total active installs count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Misc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00bb<a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/2018\/02\/26\/php-meeting-recap-february-19th\/\">PHP Meeting Recap \u2013 February 19th<\/a>\u00ab. It will live under wordpress.org\/support, and its goal is to help users help themselves before they post a question in the support forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team wants to release a minimum viable product (MVP), a phase 1, that should bring the following (quoted from Jon Ang\u2019s article \u00bb<a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/docs\/2018\/02\/26\/state-of-helphub-february-2018\/\">State of HelpHub February 2018<\/a>\u00ab):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>better content.<\/li><li>internal search.<\/li><li>improved readability through design and content re-writes.<\/li><li>better article discovery through better categorisation.<\/li><li>REST API endpoints.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is planned to release this MVP on May 31 or earlier. To get this done, the team needs help from developers, content migrators, and editors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More on that, how you can join the team to help, and the planned features for phase 2 can be found in Jon\u2019s post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plugins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paying for reviews is not allowed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mika Epstein wrote a post \u00bb<a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/plugins\/2018\/03\/01\/reminder-paying-for-reviews-is-a-guideline-violation\/\">Reminder: Paying for reviews is a guideline violation<\/a>\u00ab where she reminds the fact that paying for plugin reviews is prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It the team notices that a plugin dev pays for reviews, they will remove all reviews from that time frame. If it happens again, the plugin author will lose his plugins.
