Tech and design leads for focus areas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Matt has announced the three focus areas REST API<\/em>, editor<\/em>, and customizer<\/em> for 2017 in his State of The Word 2016<\/em>. Each of them should have a design and tech lead. The REST API team is going to work on increasing the API usage through the backend. The editor will try to make \u00bbwriting rich posts effortless, and has \u203ablocks\u0090\u0090\u2039\u00ab, Matt writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
