WordPress 4.9.1

The core team released WordPress 4.9.1 on November 29. This is a security and maintenance release, so you should update your site(s) as soon as possible (if you do not have disabled auto updates, you will most likely already have the new version). Besides closing four security issues, the new version also fixes a few problems with 4.9, for example, now it is possible again for users of all languages to upload media files – that was prevented by a MediaElement JS error in 4.9 for specific languages.

More information about the new version in the official release post »WordPress 4.9.1 Security and Maintenance Release« by John Blackbourn.
